Blue Owl Takes a Swing at Global Tennis Sponsorship in 2025
Blue Owl, a leading asset management company, is stepping into the global spotlight with a groundbreaking sponsorship agreement spanning all four Grand Slam tennis tournaments in 2025. As the financial service patch sponsor, Blue Owl’s logo will be prominently displayed on select players' shirts, determined on a round-by-round basis.
Australian tennis star Jordan Thompson has been named Blue Owl’s athlete ambassador for the 2025 Australian Open, giving the company a dynamic face to represent its brand on the court.
Blue Owl’s investment in tennis is significant, with an estimated $2 million allocated to sponsorships covering over 100 matches this year. To put this in perspective, the company spent approximately $500,000 at last year’s U.S. Open alone.
This ambitious campaign is being executed in collaboration with P11 Group, a London-based sports marketing firm that has agreements with all four Grand Slam organizers. The firm boasts partnerships with around 90% of professional players, ensuring a far-reaching presence for Blue Owl’s brand throughout the tennis season.
With this bold move, Blue Owl is making a powerful statement about its commitment to global sports sponsorship while amplifying its visibility in the world of tennis.
