Rutgers Athletics Reunites with Nike in Multi-Million Dollar Deal

The Rutgers Board of Governors is set to approve a partnership with BSN Sports on Tuesday, establishing Nike as the official outfitter for the Scarlet Knights. This agreement is scheduled to start on July 1, 2025, and spans five years, with an option to extend for an additional five years. The total value of the deal is estimated at $30 million.

Rutgers previously worked with Nike for five years before transitioning to Adidas in July 2017. That agreement concluded in the summer of 2023, after which Adidas continued to provide gear to the Scarlet Knights at a discounted rate but without a formal contract.
