NHL Partners with Norwegian Cruise Line in Multiyear Sponsorship Deal

The NHL has signed a multiyear sponsorship deal with Norwegian Cruise Line, marking the cruise line’s first partnership with a pro sports league and the NHL’s first with a cruise brand. This partnership kicks off as the NHL season begins in North America.

Norwegian will gain visibility through the NHL’s digitally enhanced dasherboard (DED) technology during nationally televised games. Their branding will appear after the first goal in ESPN and TNT broadcasts, along with virtual in-ice ads.

Additionally, Norwegian will sponsor the NHL’s top goals series, where fans can vote for the goal of the year, with a chance to win a cruise. The brand will also activate at major NHL events like All-Star Weekend and the Winter Classic.
