New Sponsor for the WNBA - Draft Kings

The WNBA has significantly increased its media rights revenue, reportedly quadrupling its earnings with a recent deal. Building on this momentum, the league has partnered with DraftKings as an official sportsbook sponsor, complementing its existing relationship with FanDuel. This move mirrors the NBA’s approach to sportsbook sponsorships.

DraftKings will now have the right to use WNBA team and league intellectual property, and it will promote its services at major league events, including the WNBA All-Star Game. Additionally, DraftKings will be the presenting sponsor of the new “WNBA Post-Season Push” campaign. This campaign will highlight the playoff races during the last two weeks of the regular season in September, featuring updates and odds across social and digital platforms.

DraftKings has been an official sportsbook partner of the NBA since 2021, while FanDuel secured its WNBA sportsbook sponsorship as part of an extended daily fantasy agreement with the league in 2022. This dual partnership approach is expected to enhance fan engagement and boost the WNBA’s visibility and revenue.
